Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Fremont, California. This role involves extensive interaction with customers and requires a high level of attention to detail. The workplace environment is casual, and the role requires in-person attendance. This is a construction equipment rental company, so it is a construction like environment.Responsibilities: Engage with customers in person, handling their inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally Write emails to customers and other stakeholders as needed, ensuring clear and accurate communication Answer incoming phone calls, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues where possible Potentially handle invoicing or billing, maintaining accuracy and efficiency in all financial tasks Adapt to a variety of tasks and responsibilities, demonstrating a willingness to learn and take on new challenges Perform data entry tasks, ensuring all customer information is up-to-date and accurate Utilize MS Excel for various tasks, demonstrating proficiency in the software Show eagerness to gain new skills and grow in the role, taking on more complex administrative tasks as required.Requirements Proven experience as a Customer Service Representative or similar role Proficiency in MS Excel Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to effectively handle stressful situations and maintain patience in dealing with customers Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer complaints effectively High level of professionalism and ability to maintain customer confidentiality Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in a relevant discipline will be appreciated Knowledge of customer service principles and practices Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively Willingness to work in different shifts as per the requirement.
