Please log into Workday and click on Menu or View All Apps, select the Jobs Hub app, then click the magnifying glass to Browse Jobs.Job Purpose/OverviewThe Sr. Lab Operations Manager executes key operational activities to drive completion of various projects, international and domestic, as defined by the business’s goals and strategic vision. You will work with other Operations and cross functional teams such as IT, marketing, etc. to complete tasks on any assigned projects. These include, but are not limited to, lab integrations, new product implementations, and platform support.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for all (laboratory) operational implementation phases of domestic and international laboratory integrations, greenfield or acquisition. This includes assessing current operating model and processes, scoping and planning conversion/integration plans, and successfully executing these integrations. Key measures of success are adherence to timelines and budget, partner experience, customer experience.

Carry out operational activities as needed by the project at various levels including equipment procurement requests, providing technical requirements, personnel training and management, etc.

Liaise and form productive collaborative relationships with key Lab Operations and other stakeholders of partner laboratories as part of integration projects.

Represent Antech professionally at all times and with the understanding that this role can be ‘tip of the spear’ and shape perception of Antech and influence project success.

Identify areas of special sensitivity with regard to change management for lab partners and form plans for risk mitigation.

Execute floor-level process analyses of partner laboratories to assess risks and benefits of integration/conversion, where customer and associate experience may be at risk, and plan and implement mitigation or necessary accommodation actions with consult of OLT. Includes cost:benefit analyses.

Test and validate new processes and procedures prior to implementation

Implement operational requirements across functional teams including reference laboratory, customer service, client supplies, etc.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Procurement, Finance, Medical, QA, Commercial/Marketing, etc. to communicate and deploy project requirements

Identify best practices across lab system and where appropriate, with OLT consult, propose process improvement plan

Monitor, document, and report on key operational metrics and notify management of potential risks

May be asked to participate in enterprise initiatives, special projects, and other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline with at least 5 years in a laboratory operations leadership role

Demonstrated experience innovating, leading, and executing laboratory process improvement projects

Project management experience is a plus

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong knowledge of laboratory functions including equipment, lab information systems, workflows, SOPs, quality assurance protocols, etc.

Ability to objectively assess process alternatives with focus on key qualities

Strong verbal and written communications skills, including documentation of findings and recommendations; professional disposition and the ability to tactfully have difficult conversations

Tact in difficult conversations and persuasiveness to facilitate tactical successes

Ability to operate lab equipment and run tests in a laboratory setting

Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast paced environment

Strong organization skills, time management, and attention to detail

Ability to interact with all levels of management

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment and build relationships

Ability to be self-directed and motivated

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Must be able to travel as needed to meet the needs of global operational objectives

The associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is frequently required to hear and speak in order to use the telephone, make presentations and communicate with people in an office environment. The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch. The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.The associate will primarily work in a typical office environment including use of cubicles, computers and overhead lighting. Temperature extremes will be minimal to nonexistent. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The associate will be required to use a computer, spreadsheets, data base management, email, and the Internet. The associate may need to use a copy machine, fax machine, and phone system. The associate must occasionally use media equipment such as an overhead projector, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.The Target Pay Range for this position is $112,700-$140,875 annually.
