We are looking for someone who is passionate about exceptional patient care and Neurology. As an integral part of our team, you will work closely with veterinarians, veterinary assistants, and other staff members to ensure the well-being of our patients.Compensation :Credentialed Veterinary Technicians:2-3 years of experience $26.50 - $29.503 + years of experience $29.50 - $35.00Veterinary Assistant $20.00 - $25.00Compensation is all dependent on education, experience, credentials, location, nature of practice, schedule and additional responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:
Proven track record of exceptional patient care and advocacy
Taking thorough history on a patient and getting vitals
Comfortable with running appointments, obtaining histories, and keeping detailed medical records
Articulate, dependable, hardworking, and compassionate
Strong communication skills with clients and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Assist veterinarians in performing diagnostic procedures, surgical procedures and treatments related to Neurology including radiographs, routine bloodwork, accurate medical record keeping, patient restraint, and more.
All tasks related to inducing, maintain/monitoring, and recovering patients from anesthesia.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure proper documentation of procedures.
Educate pet owners on neurologic conditions, treatment plans, and at-home care.
Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and standards.

Assisting our Doctor and Technician staff as needed with patient care
Maintain accurate and complete medical records
Helping clients and doctors during humane euthanasia’s
Maintain a clean work environment to maintain any infectious disease protocols, handle medical/biomedical and infectious waste appropriately
Maintain inventory and supplies for procedures and patient husbandry.
Qualifications:
Current and valid Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license or a minimum of 2 years of experience in performing technician duties.
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and common conditions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards animals and their owners.
