Sr. Data Engineer

Visa Technology & Operations LLC, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Sr. Data Engineer (multiple openings) in Foster City, CA to: Perform data analysis of transaction data including machine learning and advanced statistical analyses.Perform infrastructure tasks to make machine learning and advanced statistical analyses available to other users of the Visa machine learning platform.Build a Machine Learning Platform within Visa to allow data scientists to securely train machine learning models over sensitive data.Develop monitoring dashboards to collect usage metrics on CPU, memory, and GPU resources, number of users per service, and identification of power users, while also implementing real-time notifications for developers regarding any outages.Develop services, tools, or libraries to be used by data scientists for machine learning training and validation.Develop a self-service dashboard to assist users in debugging their jobs by providing a user interface to access job logs and statuses.Position reports to the Foster City, CA office and may allow for partial telecommuting.
