A majority of the admissions to this department are from our PACU via Surgical Operations and Procedures. As well as some that come through the Emergency Department are sent to our 21 BED unit . We have a mixture of Post Surgical Med-Surg and Telemetry patients. We highly value approaching patient care with strong teamwork within our unit and within our hospital. Additionally we pride ourselves on our continual efforts to make improvements to our work in order to produce the best patient outcomes. We are always looking for ways to keep our patients safe and free of hospital acquired conditions. Our team is made up of dedicated professionals and we are looking for individuals that share a passion for patient care.The incumbent is a professional who provides and supervises care to individuals and families. Utilizing a holistic approach the registered nurse provides patient and family care based on the nursing processand consistently provides a safe and confidential environment throughout the delivery of care. As a professional the registered nurse is responsible for providing leadership and maintaining professional development.QualificationsMinimum Required
1 year RN experience in an acute care Medical/Surgical unit
Current CA RN license
Current BLS from the American Heart Association
AHA ACLS within 6 months of hire
