The Program Manager will work in a corporate environment located onsite with one of our largest and most well-known customers. This position is in the Computer Lab group providing Project Management support in a team setting.Overview:
- Plans / manages projects directly related to policies or general business operations to meet specific objectives or general goals
- Works with project team(s) of technical engineers globally / cross-geos and is a key interface to the project or contributors
- Develops solutions to problems by exercising judgment and discretion to resolve within their level or to escalate
- Identifies tasks and research, determines dependencies, assesses costs, and identifies and assigns specific resources, and communicates expectations to team members
- Creates / tracks / adjusts the project or program schedule
- Assesses risks and identifies issues and solutions to timely and efficiently achieve program goals or project objectives while maintaining quality standards
- Monitors progress against schedule and determines and takes remedial action as appropriate
- Coordinates and prioritizes utilization of resources with other functions
- Plans and schedules work to ensure the completion of intermediate milestones and overall project or program in a timely manner
- Understands the technical concepts, architecture, systems, development methods, and disciplines associated with the defined projects, applies the knowledge to deliverables, and leverages it to accelerate project completion
- 3+ years of Project Management experience preferred; 4+ years of IT Supervisory experience may be substituted
- Must be able to serve as a liaison between the customer and L4 Techs
- Must be able to provide direction on Systems Rebuild Support per plan
- Must have knowledge of and provide direction to team on Software Licensing removal / replacement support
- Must have experience with Systems Cleanup
- Must have knowledge and provide direction to L4 Techs on removing client tools and client credentials
- Must be able to provide direction to L4 Techs on removing / replacing client certificates
- Must be able to provide direction to L4 Techs on performing Drive Sanitization
- Must have experience serving as a lead on Integration Testing
- 3+ years of experience providing direction on hardware support experience preferred - such as hardware landing, move, end-of-life activities, upgrades, replacements, etc.
- 3+ years of experience providing direction on software support experience preferred - such as preparing customized OS images (Windows, and Linux), configuring and installing software / OS, etc.
