Apex needs Technical Support resources to assist with a large deployment effort. We will employ a team of support specialists to assist our client with installing desktops, laptops, printers and other peripheral devices. The work will be performed under the direction of assigned internal resources who are currently operating in a lead capacity with our client. The overall team will consist of up to (12) Technicians and (2-4) Project Coordinators to assist with meeting the Project's objectives. Once they are done with equipment being deployed; they will do printer mapping and other technical support task for the environment.
Deployment Project Details: Role: Desktop Support Location: Eureka, CA Shift: 8:00am to 5:00pm PST / Monday - Friday Term: 8 Month Contract Positions: 4 resources needed to cover the 3 facilities Daily Responsibilities:- Install hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, and other devices) that are compatible with the Epic EHR system
- Perform device configuration including desktop imaging and printer mapping
- Must have a minimum of 1+ year prior technical support experience; 3+ years preferred
- Must have prior experience supporting desktops, laptops, printers, monitors and other devices
- Must have hands on support troubleshooting, imaging and deploying devices
- Experience in a Technical Support role in a Healthcare environment
- Deployment, Integration, or Implementation project experience
- EPIC and other Healthcare related software experience
- Reliability and Accountability is important as this team is depending on the members to be professional and self-sufficient in the field.
- Deployment & Migration project experience is KEY, due to this being a deployment effort (Healthcare & EPIC knowledge/experience is PREFERRED)
- Clear communication, responsible and strong overall technical acumen, as they need self-reliant resources who will get things done.
