Oversee daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles.
Assist in the budgeting process, working collaboratively with department heads to develop and monitor budgets.
Manage grant accounting, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and reporting.
Conduct internal audits to assess financial controls and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with internal departments to provide financial guidance and support.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in an educational institution.
Knowledge of accounting principles, grant accounting, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
