Description Robert Half is actively searching for an entry-level Accountant. In this role, you will enter data, review financial statements, and create and manipulate Excel spreadsheets. You will report to the Accounting Manager and be part of a dynamic team with an opportunity for career growth. This long-term contract / contract to hire entry-level Accountant position is located in Encino, California.What you get to do every day
Assisting with audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audit
Performing other related duties and participating in special projects as assigned
Reconciling and balancing general ledger accounts
Prepare monthly journal entries
Log data
Aiding in full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
Investigating and fixing account discrepancies Requirements - Less than one year of experience
10 Key Accounting experience
BS/BA degree in Accounting is mandatory
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, vlookups) is preferred
Excellent verbal, written, and social skills
High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills
Able to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and to take initiative on variety of tasks and projects
Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the dat
