Job Title: Embedded SW Specialist El Segundo, California Salary: Flexible Requirements: Experience in developing and testing embedded software/firmware in C. Understanding of SW build process make-files, IDEs. Experience in debugging embedded software using various JTAG based tools. Experience in python scripting language. Experience in using lab testing equipment oscilloscopes, power supplies, programmable loads etc. Experience in automating lab equipment using National Instruments drivers (Ni-Max drivers) Experience in reading and understanding schematics and making test board modifications. Experience in reviewing and understanding IC data-sheets. Desirable: Knowledge of embedded firmware as applicable to motor control application. Experience with embedded communication protocols ex: SPI. Knowledge of ARM based development IDEs like Keil. Knowledge of developing robust firmware in C using industry standards like MISRA-C.
