Sr. Accountant

Description Robert Half Management Resources is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant for our logistics client for a hybrid 6-month engagement in El Segundo. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for routine month-end close duties including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis. To be successful in this role, the Senior Accountant will have a foundation in general ledger accounting, strong Excel skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Month end close processPreparing balance sheet reconciliationsBooking journal entriesBooking accruals and reclass entries by building/cost centersBooking expense and cost allocations across buildings/departments for shared services/equipmentPerforming budgeting and variance analysis, management reportingRequirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or relevant professional certification preferred.Recent experience using NetSuite and Smartsheets preferred but not requiredMust have strong Microsoft Excel skills (look- ups, pivots, large data sets, sum/if, nested formulas, etc.)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departmentsRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
