We are currently collaborating with a reputable equipment supplier company to identify a qualified Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team.Position Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support our client's finance department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors.Requirements Responsibilities:
Process vendor invoices and expense reports accurately and efficiently.
Verify invoice details, including quantities, prices, and terms, to ensure accuracy.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or billing issues promptly.
Communicate effectively with vendors to address inquiries and resolve payment-related issues.
Assist with month-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with team members to streamline accounts payable processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Proven experience working in accounts payable roles, preferably within the equipment supply industry.
Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
