- Develop new content for Instructions for Use (IFU), Quick Guide, and Product Labeling.
- Participate in the Project Core Team meetings such as Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning meetings, and Retrospectives.
- Collaborate with the subject matter experts to gather the needed information to develop content.
- Work with the Information Architect to build the structural elements for the content.
- Work on the device to test and gather inputs for instructions for use.
- Edit, proofread, and route content for review and approval.
- Work with UX team to come up with graphic illustrations for quick reference guide.
- Publish and distribute content through the appropriate channels following standard operating procedures.
- Manage and keep the content up to date.
- Ability to learn and pick up new tools and technology.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in science, arts, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of content management software, including In Design, FrameMaker, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, and Illustrator (See "Scope" section for more info).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, multitasking, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good working knowledge of topic-based authoring, and DITA is a PLUS.
- Work experience in medical device or other regulated industry is a PLUS.
