Nurse Recruiter

Description Title: Healthcare Recruiter (Contract) Estimated Contract Length: 6 Months We are looking for a dedicated Nurse Recruiter to assist one of our healthcare clients in the Easy Bay Area. The role will focus on sourcing and screening candidates, managing the full recruitment cycle, and establishing strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers. Responsibilities: Specialize in recruiting for various roles including RN's, LVN's, and Leadership roles such as Nursing Managers/Supervisors, ICU, OR, and emergency department roles. Manage full cycle recruiting process from intake with hiring managers, sourcing and screening candidates, to moving candidates along in the interview process, and extending offer letters. Handle up to 25 requisitions at a given time and demonstrate the ability to understand and explain job requirements. Leverage knowledge or experience in recruiting within a union environment to understand the hiring requirements for each position. Establish and maintain strong relationships, ensuring diligent sourcing and screening of candidates, and following up and following through with both candidates and hiring managers. Utilize excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all stakeholders. Use HRIS /ATS for various recruitment-related tasks. Facilitate and manage diverse recruiting efforts. Conduct comprehensive background checks to ensure candidate suitability. Understand and apply the principles of Applicant Track System for efficient recruitment processes.Requirements Minimum of 3 years experience in a Nurse Recruiter role or similar capacity Proficiency in utilizing Applicant Track System for recruitment processes Demonstrable experience in conducting Background Checks for potential hires Expertise in Full Cycle Recruiting, from candidate sourcing to onboarding Familiarity with Diversity Recruitment strategies and practices to foster an inclusive workplace Strong knowledge of Recruiting principles and methodologies Proven ability to enhance Recruiting Efforts to attract top nursing talents Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred Knowledge of healthcare industry's regulations and procedures is an advantage Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and recruitment software.
