Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Behavioral Classroom Aide. The Behavioral Classroom Aide provides behavioral support services in the school setting.Key Responsibilities:
Implement behavior intervention plans developed by BCBAs in one-on-one settings, including homes, schools, and clinics.
Collect and record data on client progress and behavior during sessions.
Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
Provide direct support and intervention to clients to help them achieve their goals.
Model intervention techniques for parents and caregivers to ensure consistency in behavior management.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of client sessions and progress.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay current with best practices in behavior analysis.
Follow ethical guidelines and maintain professional standards in all interactions with clients and their families.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field preferred.
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or willingness to obtain certification within 90 days of hire1.
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in a related field is preferred.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all professional activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
