Summer Internship, Food Safety & Quality

Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible intern for a full-time 8-week summer internship. This schedule for this internship is 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. Days of the week and work hours may change due to business needs.Here’s what you’ll do: Gain understanding of Food Safety regulations and Quality Control standardsMaintain and track records to ensure food safety practices are adhered toSupport the QC team in inspecting products to ensure compliance with company standards and specificationsHelp collect, analyze, and interpret data related to food safety trends and incidents, identifying areas for improvementAccurately document quality checks and inspections, maintaining up-to-date records of findings and reportsIdentify, develop, and support continuous improvement opportunitiesUpdate and develop departmental SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures)Assist with WOW projects and identifying quick winsProvide general administrative support to the Food Safety and QC team
