Description We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to serve as Exam Proctors for the California State Bar Exam at Cow Palace in Daly City. Proctors play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth administration of the exam and maintaining the integrity of the testing environment.Duration: February 26th - February 28th, 2024Location: Cow Palace, Daly CityPay Rate: $25 per hourHours:

Responsibilities:
Conduct a thorough inspection of admittance documentation to ensure that only authorized persons are admitted to the exam room.
Conduct a thorough inspection to ensure that prohibited items are not allowed into the exam room.
Direct examinees to their assigned seating in an organized and efficient manner.
Assist in the administration of examinations as needed, following established procedures.
Maintain the security of examination materials at all times to prevent any unauthorized access.
Distribute, collect, and account for exam materials before, during, and after the examination sessions.
Complete various forms pertinent to the examination process accurately and in a timely manner.
Observe examinees during the examination to ensure compliance with the exam rules and regulations
Requirements
Qualifications:
Ability to work for 10-12 hours a day for 2 consecutive days
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Must be able to accept instruction/correction from staff and supervising proctors
Knowledge of basic rules of vocabulary, grammar, punctuation, and arithmetic
Ability to communicate effectively and courteously
Ability to be flexible when assignment changes
Ability to move quickly and quietly around assigned section and test center with ease
Ability to stay awake and alert during long periods of silence
Cannot be a law clerk, a law student, a paralegal or admitted as an attorney in any jurisdiction
