Description Job Title: Associate Attorney - Civil Litigation and Insurance DefenseCompany Overview:Join an AV rated, preeminent civil trial litigation firm with over 65 years of litigation success. Our dynamic, mid-sized firm specializes in trial litigation and insurance defense, representing clients with dedication and expertise.Job Summary:We are seeking a self-motivated Associate Attorney with two to five years of civil litigation and/or insurance defense experience, although motivated new attorneys are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will possess strong research, deposition, and writing skills, with a preference for those with landlord-tenant litigation experience.Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and analysis on civil litigation and insurance defense matters.
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
Prepare for and conduct depositions, hearings, and trials.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.
Assist in case strategy development and implementation.
Manage caseload independently and efficiently while meeting deadlines.
Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends in civil litigation and insurance defense.
Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners to provide exceptional legal representation to clients.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Admission to the state bar and good standing.
Two to five years of civil litigation and/or insurance defense experience preferred.
Motivated new attorneys with a strong interest in civil litigation and insurance defense are encouraged to apply.
Excellent research, deposition, and writing skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Commitment to providing high-quality legal representation and client service.
