You will develop and implement strategies that will ensure the hotel delivers positive experiences exceeding the guest's expectations.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Develop and implement strategies that will ensure a positive experience that exceeds guest’s expectationsWork collaboratively with all department supervisors to make sure operations are running smoothlyAnticipate all guest needs and respond promptly & accordinglyEstablish and maintain standards for staff performance and customer serviceMaintain full knowledge of all inner working of the hotel, including room rates, hotel policies, specials, availabilities, VIP guests, hotel events and moreStaff the hotel appropriatelyConduct meetings to ensure that all departments are in working orderRecruit, train and monitor staff performanceHandle individual and institutional client relations, inventory control, night audit and payrollFront office responsibilities include answering telephones, entering reservations into Lightspeed and following through with guest requestsJob Requirements:1+ yrs experience as an Operations Supervisor in the hotel industryKeen understanding of all the inner working of a hotelExcellent organizational skillsStrong leadership skillsHigh level of responsibility and accountabilityStrong management, communication, and organizational skillsMust be flexible with schedule.
