Key Qualifications
Seasoned technical program management in data analytics, BIG data engineering, ETL pipeline with data infrastructure experience familiar working with SRE and engineering teams.
Technical solid proficiency - Bonus points for past programming, big data, Spark/Scala, or analytics experience, including creating requirements/specifications.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines.
Naturally accountable and responsible. Critical tracts - Self-starting, self-motivated, self-directed, and self-sufficient
Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) to all levels of an organization
Strong facilitation skills (Drive complex projects, quarterly and roadmap planning, facilitate requirements sessions, design meetings, progress, and status meetings)
Strong problem-solving capabilities, analytical skills, and ability to see around the corners.
Domain Expertise
Data Engineering- experience working on projects with a data engineering focus
Big Data Technologies and Cloud Services—Proficiency in big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
Technical Expertise- Deep technical understanding is necessary for identifying cross-project dependencies.
Cross-Functional Project Management-Experience is managing large-scale, cross-functional projects through to completion.
Basic Project Management Proficiencies-Essential skills in taking meeting notes, following up on action items, providing status updates, and escalating issues as needed.
Proactivity and Risk Management: Skilled in proactive follow-ups with meeting actions and effective risk mitigation.
Self-motivation and Adaptability: A self-starter who is result-oriented, with the flexibility and adaptability to thrive in dynamic environments.
