This role is critical in bridging the gap between marketing and sales, ensuring the successful execution of tailored marketing programs and campaigns that increase pipeline growth and revenue.As the primary marketing resource for inside sales and business development teams, you will develop strategies to create leads, enhance customer engagement, and guide brand awareness within specific territories or channels. You will collaborate with Integrated and Vertical Marketing teams to adapt broad-based campaigns for regional needs, while also designing custom, channel-specific programs.This role requires a person with program management skills who can also implement tactical programs, manage ad hoc requests, and help sales teams with tools, campaigns, and processes that achieve measurable results. By aligning marketing efforts with regional sales goals, you will help achieve revenue goals and promoting stronger connections between marketing and sales. You will report to the Director, Vertical Markets.Responsibilities:Collaborate with Middle Market Sales and BDR teams to understand regional and channel-specific needs, tailoring marketing efforts to align with revenue goals.
Be the contact between integrated and vertical marketing, and sales teams, ensuring agreement on strategies, messaging, and goals.
Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs, using insights to inform marketing campaigns and positioning.
Customize corporate and vertical marketing programs to meet regional/channel requirements, ensuring relevance and influence.
Write and manage sales cadences and email templates in tools such as Salesloft and Seismic, ensuring messaging resonates with the target audience and supports sales team goals
Use marketing technology and AI tools (e.g., 6Sense, Salesloft, Seismic) to develop personalized, data-driven sales and marketing campaigns.
Provide sales enablement support, including the creation of tools, content, and training resources that enhance sales effectiveness.
Analyze the performance of marketing campaigns to improve results and improve Return on investment.
Be a program manager to ensure seamless execution and agreement of marketing activities across teams; with 30% of time operating as program manager specifically for the vertical marketing team.
Experience in B2B marketing, channel marketing, sales enablement or a similar role with a focus on campaign strategy (3+ years); or equivalent experience.
Project management skills.
Experience with industry-specific market dynamics, buyer personas and customer journey.
Experience creating engaging and sales content.
Hands-on experience with marketing tools like Salesloft, Seismic, 6Sense, or similar platforms.
Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, or communications a must.
Preferably located in Southern California within driving distance to Costa Mesa.
