We are looking for a candidate that has a passion for Accounting and is looking to start their career with a Fortune 500 company No prior accounting work experience needed. Description:
Processing invoices for payment
Review, validate, code, and perform data entry regarding monthly promotions
Frequent correspondence with the sales force and/or distributors regarding back up needs or clarification regarding monthly deals.
Validate and/or analyze back up reports against invoice and promotions
Research back up not submitted with claims (i.e. Promo Agreements, chain alerts, etc.)
Code promotions on invoice
Data entry into Vistex (SAP) ERP
Contact distributors/RM’s for additional information regarding missing back up or clarification
Process revisions, if needed
Answering phone calls and responding to e-mails from the sales team and distributors
Maintaining Files (filing- alphabetically, numerically, and by receipt date) – Please note, this may require heavy lifting and frequent walking to other side of the building where the filing cabinets are. May require frequent bending as well.
Special projects as assigned (ad-hoc)
Skills:accounting, accounts payable, a/p, reporting, data entry, sap, customer service, excelSkills & Qualifications:
BA/BS in Accounting Finance Economics or Related (Must Have)
Accounting courses (must have)
Super-User in Microsoft Excel with Pivot tables and V-lookups (assessment needed)
Strong computer skills (how to create folders, open and close windows, etc)
Be extremely detail oriented and accurate (minimal error rates)
Strong comprehension skills/Analytical
Strong and clear verbal and written skills
Fast learner
Self-motivated/takes the initiative
Organizational skills
Strong Time Management Skills
