Staff Tech is currently seeking a Quality Assurance analyst for their Public Sector Client supporting projects in response to COVID-19.
Responsibilities:- Create test plans, test cases, training guides, and user acceptance test documentation to ensure software is adequately tested against requirements.
- Develop and execute functional, non-functional, regression, integration, and performance tests to test the reliability, functionality, and/or usability of software.
- Document all software defects in a defect tracking system or equivalent. Work with software development team to resolve defects and retest new builds.
- Perform analysis to help identify, document, and resolve application issues.
- Conduct and support user acceptance testing sessions.
- Document defects, change requests, and enhancements identified by users and stakeholders.
- Monitor software bug reports from users and coordinates with software development teams to resolve bugs and deploy product fixes.
- Attend meetings with the Project Manager, as needed.
- Provide knowledge transfer.
Mandatory Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Software Development, Business Administration/Management or related field.Three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years working as a software quality assurance analyst conducting software quality assurance activities for software development projects, including creation of test plans and test cases, and testing the developed software against business and functional requirements.Three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years working closely with Software Developers and Business Analysts on Information Technology project(s) consisting of a project team of over 10 staff and 100+ users.Three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years using software tools used for software quality assurance documentation and reporting (i.e. Microsoft Team Foundation Server.)Three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years coordinating with business stakeholders and software end-users to guide them through user acceptance testing for Information Technology project(s).
