Description Summary: As a Senior Network Engineer with a specialization in Meraki technology, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our network, with a focus on Meraki switches and access points. Requirements Responsibilities:Network Design and Architecture:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and architect network solutions that meet the organization's requirements.
Develop and implement network configurations, including Meraki switches and access points, to ensure optimal performance and security.
Meraki Expertise:
Serve as the subject matter expert for Meraki products, including MX security appliances, MS switches, and MR wireless access points.
Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Meraki devices to ensure seamless network operations.
Security Implementation:
Implement robust security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and encryption protocols, to protect the network from threats and vulnerabilities.
Stay current with emerging security threats and trends, proactively addressing potential risks.
Network Monitoring and Optimization:
Continuously monitor network performance, analyzing data and metrics to identify and resolve issues.
Optimize network infrastructure for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Troubleshooting and Incident Response:
Provide expert-level support for network-related incidents, diagnosing and resolving issues promptly.
Develop and maintain documentation for troubleshooting procedures and best practices.
Collaboration and Training:
Collaborate with IT teams and other departments to ensure network solutions meet business needs.
Provide training and guidance to junior team members on Meraki technology and security best practices.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure network compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and security policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in network engineering with a strong focus on Meraki switches and access points.
Proven expertise in network security and a solid understanding of security protocols and best practices.
Meraki certifications (e.g., Cisco Meraki CMNO or CMNA) are a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, or CISSP) are a plus.
