Description Robert Half is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable/ Accounting Manager to lead AP within the hospitality industry. The AP Consultant will be responsible for reviewing and approving AP batches in the system, process check, EFT, ACH and supervise 2 staff. Additionally, the consultant will support the controller by reconciling some balance sheet accounts and booking ap accruals.This role will be located onsite in Commerce, CA. Technical Skills

Review and approve weekly batches in the accounting system and book monthly AP accruals
Strong organizational skill
Intermediate Excel skills required
Excellent written/verbal communication skills required
Must be able to work independently
Requirements
Proven experience in a managerial role within an Accounts Payable department, preferably within the hospitality industry. Proficiency in Account Coding and Accounts Payable (AP) procedures. Extensive knowledge of Accrual Accounting principles. Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions. Experience managing Payable Invoices and conducting Weekly Account Payable reviews. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of an organization. Strong organizational skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure. Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills. Knowledge of local and national financial regulations and standards. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.
