Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Commerce, California. The primary function of this role is to oversee financial operations within our furniture distribution company, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and standards, and utilizing SAP as our primary accounting system.Responsibilities: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts Manage cash flow forecasting and ensure availability of funds for operational needs Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements Oversee audits and coordinate audit activities Implement internal controls and procedures to mitigate financial risk Utilize SAP for day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment Requirements Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role in the accounting industry Fluency in Mandarin is required Understanding and experience with ADP - Financial Services is essential Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions is necessary Expertise in handling Accounting Functions is required Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is crucial Knowledge and understanding of Auditing principles is necessary Proficiency in handling Billing Functions is required Experience with SAP is a must Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills are necessary A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required Professional certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously is essential.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
