Description We are looking for a Purchaser to join our team in Colton, California. This role involves supporting various purchasing operations in our growing company. You will be tasked with managing purchasing orders, evaluating vendors and suppliers, and maintaining inventory levels. Evaluate the quality, price, reliability, and technical support of vendors and suppliers to secure the best deals. Proactively monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs. Track orders and ensure timely delivery, updating and sharing reports on order status. Collaborate with warehouse and production personnel to maintain inventory levels. Conduct market research to identify pricing trends and negotiate to secure the best deals. Coordinate with the accounting department for invoice issues and payment scheduling. Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices. Assist in the development and implementation of the company’s purchasing policies and procedures. Address any problems or complaints related to the items/services purchased.Large ERP System experience a mustRequirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Purchasing role Proficient in using Epicor and other ERP Solutions Familiarity with Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP) procedures Knowledge of Buying Processes and Purchase Orders Experience in Issuing, Entering, Preparing, and Processing Purchase orders Understanding of Purchase Price Allocation and Purchase Price Variance Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with vendors and negotiate pricing and terms Proven track record of successful Vendor Negotiation Ability to analyze market trends to determine appropriate Purchase Prices.
