Description We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll activities, compliance with relevant regulations, and maintaining positive relationships with employees.Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing: Execute end-to-end payroll processing, including the calculation of wages, deductions, and other relevant payroll components.

Time and Attendance: Monitor and manage time and attendance systems, ensuring accurate recording of hours worked and addressing any discrepancies.

Compliance: Stay abreast of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations to ensure compliance and accurate processing of payroll-related taxes.

Employee Inquiries: Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters, benefits, and deductions, providing timely and accurate information.

Record-Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date payroll records, ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

Reporting: Prepare and generate regular payroll reports for management, detailing relevant payroll metrics and insights.

Top Three Most Important Skills/Experience:

Payroll Processing Expertise: Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing, including knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.

Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail in reviewing and auditing payroll data for accuracy and completeness.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to interact with employees, address inquiries, and collaborate with internal teams.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.

Proficient in payroll software and systems; experience with ADP, Workday, or similar platforms is advantageous.

Knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements.

Strong understanding of accounting principles related to payroll.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Problem-solving skills to address and resolve payroll-related issues.
