Auditing Clerk

Description We are in the market for a meticulous and diligent Auditing Clerk to join our team in the retail industry, located in the City of Industry, California. This role involves conducting comprehensive audits of sales revenue and Point of Sale (POS) transactions, troubleshooting and resolving any issues, and maintaining clear communication with various departments. Responsibilities: Conduct detailed audits of sales revenue and Point of Sale (POS) transactions for assigned areas Process any dropped transactions efficiently Investigate store bank deposit discrepancies and take necessary corrective measures Assist stores in troubleshooting, researching, and resolving problems with sales transactions and balances Maintain effective communication with Stores, District Managers, Regional Directors, and Loss Prevention as necessary Prepare weekly and monthly journal entries reflecting the month’s activity Utilize accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel for data processing Execute auditing and accounting functions as per established guidelines Provide exceptional customer service by responding to all customer requests promptly and thoroughly Ensure accuracy in check processing and cash activity management.
