The IP&S team provides capture, startup and execution planning expertise to structure, build, analyze, and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and associated performance controls for Aerostructures New Product Introduction (NPI) Programs and projects. You are a highly motivated leader interested in the implementation and continuous improvement of the IP&S function for our commercial and military applications. You will lead a team of planners which support the value streams and functions in project planning, resourcing, cost and earned value management, and performance. You are an excellent communicator and a change agent interested in leading teams directly and indirectly through implementation of change.This position works onsite at our Chula Vista, California facility.Eligible for relocation.Primary Responsibilities:

Expert in the field of Integrated Master Planning and Integrated Master Scheduling for both military and commercial programs and projects; will be the "go-to" within the Aerostructures organization

Mange projects using expert Microsoft Project skills

Lead the definition, development, and implementation of procedures, standards, processes, and tools for program/project planning and controls from proposal phase through sustaining production including training & communication strategies

Ensure agility and scalability of processes and tools to support projects of varying sizes, complexity, customer types

Lead and mentor a team of planners/ schedulers that will directly execute IP&S activities in partnership with the value streams and functions

Develop and run governance processes and venues to ensure program and project compliance to IP&S requirements; Establish clear and robust metrics to measure team progress

Team and build relationships with all functions and value streams, securing input and buy-in from key stakeholders in the development and implementation of new processes and tools

Establish relationships across the broader Raytheon organization to leverage best practices and lessons learned sharing

Develop and support processes which integrate IP&S with Earned Value (EV) system. Assist finance organization with the configuration and implementation of any EV system(s) to support program and contract requirements

Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally

Basic Qualifications:

Typically requires University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and/or similar program planning and controls methodology

Experience with Government regulations pertaining to program planning and Earned Value (EV) compliance

5 years or more of MS Project experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with planning/scheduling in aerospace & defense industry

Experience delivering presentations to all levels of an organization, including, but not limited to, senior and executive level leadership

Team lead or management experience

SAP experience

Project EVMS tool experience (i.e. ForProject)

Understanding of basic product development principles and onboarding NPI programs

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
