Description Robert Half is hiring Junior Accountants to support local San Diego organizations! As a Junior Accountant, you will work closely with the accounting team to support various financial tasks and gain valuable insight into the accounting field. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow, with the potential for transition into a full-time position based on performance and company needs.Key Responsibilities:
Assist with accounts payable/receivable tasks, including invoice processing and vendor payments
Perform bank reconciliations and assist in month-end close procedures
Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records
Support financial reporting and analysis as needed
Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates welcome!)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with QuickBooks a plus)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
