We are looking for a contract service provider (CSP) for our business here at Ritchie Trucking.
We deliver and install major appliances for a big-box home improvement store. Appliances include microwaves, washing machines, dryers, ranges (gas and electric), refrigerators, and dishwashers. Additionally, we drop off other medium to large items ordered from the website. They can range from flooring, to cabinets. We deliver 6 days a week – Monday through Saturday. If you had day preferences, we are flexible about that.
The basic requirements are as follows:
One 26’ box truck
Two employees on the truck. They’d have to pass the client's required background check and both be able to install the appliances.
Deliver an assigned route. Our territory spans from Weed, CA down to Oroville and everything in between. The most common cities are Oroville, Chico, Paradise, Red Bluff, and Redding. If you have location preferences, we are flexible about that.
Routes are between 6 and 14 stops starting and finishing at our warehouse in Orland, CA. There is room to leave your truck here, but you don’t have to keep it here if you don’t want so long as we check you in at the end of the route.
o Trash and waste appliances are processed here so you would leave empty and clear.
Deliver and install the above-listed appliances in addition to performing modifications to the appliances such as door swing changes on fridges, or stacking dryers on washers per manufacturer modifications. Tools are not provided, but necessary parts are provided (power cords, water lines, etc)
The contract is pay-per-service (compensation attached) with a minimum of $38.00 per delivery and fuel compensation.
During the following months we could just about guarantee one route per day – June, July, September, November, December.
