QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 3 years’ experience programming Allen-Bradley (Rockwell), Modicon (Schneider), General Electric or similar equipment in a process control environment.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

PLC control system design experience.

Able to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous projects.

Knowledge of technical controls and troubleshooting skills.

Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).

Demonstration of a professional attitude and courtesy towards others.

Ability to work independently and problem solve.

Willingness to occasionally travel and work overtime.

Experience in radio telemetry design and/or configuration.

Experience in computer networks and/or information technology.

US Citizenship or Authorization to work in the US.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Ability to pass a background check.

Water or wastewater industry experience

Ability to read elementary diagrams and process and instrumentation diagrams.

Valid CA Driver’s License (or ability to obtain).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Hands-on controls systems programming and installation.

Technical support during testing and commissioning.

Install and troubleshoot field devices.

Prepare cost estimates.

Review hardware and software designs.

Assist in project tracking and documentation.

Prepare written control narratives.
