Our more than 6,000 employees are proud to work at our state-of-the-art sawmills and other facilities, including: manufacturing, custom wood-framed windows, fabrication, millwork, veneer, cogeneration, trucking, forestry, and other operations.

Currently, are seeking a qualified Millwright / Maintenance Technician to work collaboratively with our windows division in Red Bluff, California.

About the Position

Fabrication, repair, and perform diagnostics for manufacturing equipment and processes

Install and troubleshoot complex manufacturing equipment that are reliable and consistent

Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic (oil/air logic) controlled equipment

Operate cutting torch, welders, hand tools, forklift and welding truck

Weld various materials using MIG, TIG, and stick

Recognize, report, and repair mechanical defects

Identify and communicate opportunities and take measures to reduce waste

Ensure product and process quality through self-inspection of finished products

Effectively manage time and materials for each project

Focus on current work while planning the next stages of work

Perform general maintenance in a safe and efficient manner and maintain a clean work area

Work may consist of various shifts, with some overtime and weekend work during busy production times

Qualifications

1-year recent verifiable related work history or educational equivalent

Must have current welding certification

Proficient in welding, cutting, and using hand tools for repairs

Knowledge of electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, motors, and gear boxes

Industrial/commercial mechanical maintenance experience is a plus
