We are seeking a hardworking Miller to join a successful company in Biggs, CA!
Miller will perform daily milling activities to assure operations are optimized. Activities include operation of the milling process, prioritizing and assigning proactive and reactive milling maintenance, troubleshooting milling issues, and maintaining quality and quantity product.
Compensation: $20-$24/hr
Job Requirements:
Supervise and lead employees in a production environment.
Operate and direct the operation of all equipment in the mill to ensure the production of specified product(s) in a clean and sanitary environment.
Operate milling equipment in an efficient manner to achieve optimal performance.
Conduct an equipment and product flow.
Perform various quality checks and make judgments and operational adjustments accordingly.
Verify Assistant Miller and Millhands are completing their daily cleaning tasks and responsibilities.
Routinely observe condition of machinery, equipment, guards, facility areas needing repair or conditions that appear unsafe.
Ability to determine if rice specifications are correct for an order.
Performs other duties as required.
Job Qualifications:
Have high school diploma or equivalent
Have reliable transportation to Biggs CA
Must have at least two (2) years of milling experience.
