Role Description

There are two full-time, on-site roles located in the Redding, California area.

(1) CPA or CPA candidate and

(2) Professional Fiduciary or Professional Fiduciary candidate.

The successful CPA, or CPA candidate, will be responsible in assisting with the preparation of accountings, reconciling accounts, preparing tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and working with clients and attorneys on various tax and fiduciary accounting matters.

The successful Professional Fiduciary, or Professional Fiduciary candidate, will be responsible in assisting with the managing of trusts, estates and conservatorships. They will be working with clients and attorneys, preparing and assisting with court and trust accountings, working with financial advisors, insurance agents, attorneys and other professionals to ensuring the client's, and/or beneficiaries' financial and distribution needs are met.

In either role, strong attention to detail, ability to clearly communicate and ability to update and document files is essential. The ability to analyze and assess each case independently based on the records and documents will also be necessary. Willing to train the right candidate(s) given they meet the requirements below. Pay will be based on experience and adjusted for performance.

Qualifications

For CPA or Candidate - Bachelor's or advanced degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

For Professional Fiduciary - minimum of AA degree with Bachelor degree preferred.

CPA or Professional Fiduciary license (or working towards obtaining one).

Prefer Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting or 1 year in fiduciary services.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax laws a plus.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel. Accounting software is a plus.

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Able to pass background and drug tests.

Organized and able to prioritize deadlines effectively.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
