I am a business transaction and tax attorney located in Northern California. My practice is busy, and I need some additional help. I hope to find a contract attorney and/or paralegal with extensive business law experience. After a trial period, there may be an opportunity for full-time W-2 employment, with benefits. Ideally, the right person would be a candidate to become an eventual equity owner.
Compensation depends on experience, efficiency and quality of work. For attorneys, the starting range is from $110 to $185 per hour of reasonably accepted billed time. For Paralegals, the starting range is from $55 to $95 per hour of reasonably accepted billed time.
The successful candidate must have at least 5 years' experience forming business entities in California and drafting business contracts and agreements. The following characteristics are very important to me: 1) detail-oriented, 2) taking well to direction with little need for follow up, 3) good communication skills, and 4) integrity.
