AMJaMB Supported Living Services (amjamb.com) is looking for people who are interested in growing with the company in Butte and Tehama County. As a provider of Far Northern Regional Center (FNRC) we serve people with developmental and intellectual disabilities with a wide range of services. The Owners of the Company are parents of children with disabilities.
We are currently looking to fill a Part-Time position to start and then turning into a full time position for a Supported Employment Job Coach to work with people who are Far Northern Regional Center participants. This position entails helping individuals find and maintain employment by providing support and guidance tailored to the person with a 1:1 staffing ratio. This includes assessments, assisting with documentation, pre-employment training and assessments, assisting with job searching, and offer ongoing support to the individual to help maintain employment and advance in competitive integrated employment/customized employment/paid internships. This position reports to the Job Development Coordinator.
The Supported Employment Job Coach needs to have at least 1 year experience with supporting people with developmental disabilities in inclusive settings and have a high school diploma or an equivalent. Paid training includes training to receive certification in Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators (ACRE) Customized Employment or Basic Employment, or Certified Employment Supported Professional (CESP) certification or other similar certifications needed for the position.
