Hi! I will have an opening from 730am- 8pm on Saturday and Sundays for an IHSS caregiver in Chico. A little about me and the job, I’m a 45 year old mom that has muscular dystrophy and is bed bound. I have a powered wheelchair that I use part time. I need help with keeping me comfortable during your shift and watching tv with me, which includes feeding me, light meal prep, light housekeeping, assisting with hygiene, and general care in my home. No child care needed. The job can be slow paced or faster paced, you will have some down town where you can bring a laptop, be on your phone, or read-a book. This is not a heavy lifting type of job, but some elbow grease will help. If you’d like more info feel free to send questions my way, and we can set up an interview!
