Job Title/Position: Hygiene Coordinator. Job Type: Full Time
Summary: Responsible for building and monitoring Hygiene patients and ensuring each
visit runs smoothly. Our goal is to give our patience a seamless experience that leaves
them feeling confident and content with our services.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Obtain insurance information and verify coverage as well as explain to patient
coverage details.
Research benefit plans and input accurate insurance data into Dentrix database.
Estimate patient copayments and treatment presentation to patients.
Schedule patients and keep hygiene schedule full.
Manage front desk operations including scheduling appointments and handling
phone inquiries.
Utilize Dentrix software for patient records management and documentation.
Maintain accurate files and documentation for all patient interactions.
Coordinate patient treatment plans and communicate effectively with patients
regarding their options.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a dental office setting as a Treatment Coordinator or a job
requiring similar role.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
Experience Team Lead Role.
Proficient and knowledgeable in using Dentrix or similar dental management
software.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
Punctual, organized and highly detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and
complete tasks in a timely manner.
