Job Description: seeking a dedicated and versatile Kitchen Manager who can proficiently work across all kitchen stations. The ideal candidate will possess the skills necessary to train and mentor new kitchen staff members. Responsibilities:
-Work efficiently across all kitchen stations, including but not limited to: prep, line cooking, grilling, sautéing, frying, and plating.
-Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
-Monitor food stock levels.
-Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
-Train, mentor, and support new kitchen staff, ensuring they understand kitchen procedures, safety standards, and quality expectations.
-Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
-Proven experience working in a kitchen environment, with the ability to work across multiple stations.
-Previous experience in training or mentoring kitchen staff.
-Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
-Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
-Shift requirements: 4pm-9:30pm Tuesday– Saturday
Physical Requirements:
-Ability to stand for extended periods.
-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
-Comfortable working in a hot, humid, and fast-paced environment.
