Project Manager - Construction

Seeking a highly talented Project Manager in support of projects in the greater Sacramento area. This challenging position will provide an excellent growth opportunity while improving the infrastructure of the region.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

Managing project implementation including schedule, budgets, quality and safety

Resource planning and management - including managing company resources assigned to the project as well as third party vendors, designers, fabricators and contractors

Direct the efforts of the full engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction management, and commissioning team in creating the execution plans, organization, and contracts needed to deliver the project within the stated cost and schedule

Continue to build a positive relationship with highly important & strategic clients who have significant future work in the area

Preparing and issuing Progress Reports and ensuring timely payments

Monitoring compliance with various regulatory statues as well as compliance with applicable policies and procedures

Project stakeholder management and interface

Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working on underground utility projects in PM role

Heavy Civil Construction project experience

Knowledge of regulatory requirements, environmental compliance, and safety standards (e.g., OSHA).

Strong leadership and team-building abilities to motivate cross-functional teams.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.

Experience in conflict resolution and negotiating with vendors, clients, and subcontractors.

Decision-making skills under pressure.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.

The salary range for this position is between $100,000 - $145,000 per year depending on experience and/or education including health insurance, 401K plan, paid vacation.
