Four Seasons Roofing is looking for a qualified bookkeeper
Financial Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including income, expenses, invoices, and payments.
Record financial data into general ledgers, which are used to produce balance sheets and income statements.
Ensure all financial and transactional data is input accurately into accounting software.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and accurate tracking of outstanding balances.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Work with project managers or general contractors to ensure accurate forecasts for timelines, budgets, and costs for new jobs.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, tax reports, balance sheets, annual budgets, and financial statements.
Tax Reporting:
Prepare and file necessary tax reports and documentation.
Payroll Processing:
Process payroll for construction workers.
Software Proficiency:
Proficient in using accounting software QuickBooks- An d other construction billing programs
Communication:
Communicate with project managers, contractors, and owner to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
Other Duties:
May also be responsible for reconciling bank statements, preparing financial reports, and providing financial analysis.
Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent, with some employers preferring or requiring college courses or a degree in accounting or a related field.

Experience:
Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in the construction industry.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets, and other relevant software.
Soft Skills:
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and construction industry practices.
