We work with multiple districts in and around Cerritos, CA and are seeking school LVNs to get confirmed for the current school year. We offer Health Office School LVN and 1:1 School LVN roles. Duties for 1:1 generally revolve around 5 areas of care: G-tubes, Tracheotomies, Seizure Disorders, Diabetes Support, and supporting mental/physical delays. We provide clinical training specific for the school setting. Great for newly licensed LVNs or LVNs seeking pediatric experience. Clinical training provided
Screens and conducts health appraisals for students and staff.
Provides follow-up evaluations on students as required.
Recommends corrective action where problems are identified
Records immunizations, health findings, and other relevant health data.
Other Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Current Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) license for the state in which the nurse practices.
Current BLS card.
Clinical training provided before placement
