A dynamic organization with a growing team seeks an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. The permanent opening for an Account Payable Clerk is located in the Cerritos, California area.How you will make an impact
Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling
Implement full-cycle A/P
Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it
Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks
Help with internal and external audits as required
Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners
Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them
Perform special projects as assigned
Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed Requirements - 2+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
Deep understanding of 3 Way Matching
Command of Enter Vendor Invoices
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)
Competent with spreadsheets and databases
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
