A growing company in Carlsbad is hiring senior data engineers to join the platform engineering team and work on brand new prediction analytics features for customers. This is a position within a digital agency, and you will be working on brand new projects to drive clients' revenue. This position is local to Carlsbad, as employees are onsite already, based on state regulations. Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ Years experience with building large scale data pipeline systems
- Strong experience with programming (Python, Scala, Spark)
- Proficient understanding of cloud technologies (AWS)
- Experience with streaming data platforms like Kinesis or Kafka
- Experience in start up environments
- Bachelors Degree
- 50% data engineering (analytics, modeling, ETL pipelines)
- 50% programming (Python, Scala, Spark, AWS)
- 100% hands on
