RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Automation Electro-systems Test Engineer in Carlsbad, CA.
Summary:The Senior Automation Electro-systems Test Engineer is responsible for developing hardware and software components for board and system level manufacturing test systems. The Engineer is responsible for all development activities, including design documentation, verification, validation, and holding formal design reviews.Duties and Responsibilities: Develops test automation applications using NI LabVIEW and TestStand Develops test fixtures and test adapters using OrCAD Schematic Capture, PADS Layout or Altium Designer Writes work instructions, test procedures, requirement specifications, IQ/OQ/PQ validation protocols, and other documentation required in an FDA regulated business environment Works in small teams with experts of different fields (electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, scientists, clinical experts, etc.) Participates in the development lifecycle (research, development, documentation, validation, release management)REQUIREMENTS: Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience Successful track record developing test automation software with LabVIEW and TestStand Experience with NI hardware and PXI based architecture Experience with PCB design, fabrication, and bring up Expert level working knowledge of at least one PCB design software Strong background in analog and digital circuit design fundamentals Experience with Microsoft SQL Server desired Matlab scripting knowledge desired Previous experience in the medical device industry preferred Excellent problem-solving skills, thoroughness, attention to detailKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
