Description We're searching for an enthusiastic, newly graduated Payroll Clerk to join our growing team. If you are ready to launch your career in payroll, have recently completed your degree and possess an eager-to-learn attitude, this is an ideal opportunity for you. This role will offer you hands-on experience and the opportunity to gain valuable skills in payroll management.Responsibilities:
Gather and examine timesheets to ensure accuracy.
Assist in the preparation and execution of payroll operations.
Coordinate with HR about changes in payroll (e.g., terminations, new hires, raises, and time off).
Resolving any discrepancies surrounding payroll.
Prepare and submit reports on payroll activity to the accounting department.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws regulating payroll.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Recent graduates are welcome.
Basic knowledge of payroll policies and procedures.
Ability to handle confidential information.
Excellent numerical and communication abilities.
Detail-oriented and organized.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
