The right Data Engineer demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of data warehousing, ETL and business intelligence, and utilizes best AWS practices to ensure that client data sets are properly ingested into their data environment, accurately incorporating each client's unique business requirements and facilitating optimal analytic output. Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of professional SQL engineering experience
- 5+ years of professional Data engineering with Python
- Strong SSIS, SSRS experience
- Strong AWS experience:
- S3
- EC2
- Snowflake
- Athena
- Spark experience is a plus
- Create high performance data warehouse and ETL solutions using SSIS, Python and Spark
- Build data flow automation to retrieve, transform and load data
- Design and develop tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints and stored procedures
- Performance tuning and optimization of ETL, SQL and database structures
- Create brand new AWS based warehouses and data lakes
- Competitive Salary: Up to $140,000/year, DOE
