Client Accounting Manager

Description Robert Half is in search of an experienced Accounting Manager to join our CPA firm client based in Burbank, California. This role involves overseeing daily bookkeeping and accounting tasks for a portfolio of clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, and generating financial statements while supervising a team of 3. In addition to a competitive salary, our client offers excellent benefits and flexible working arrangements as needed!Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for a book of clients Manage accounts payable and receivable Generate and analyze financial statements Utilize accounting software systems like QuickBooks for efficient operations Supervise day-to-day management of accounting functions Conduct month-end close processes Use skills in accounting software systems to streamline and automate processes Ensure accuracy and compliance in all accounting functions Resolve any accounting issues or discrepancies Regularly update and maintain customer credit records.Requirements Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accounting Manager or Account Manager at CPA/Business Management firm Demonstrated ability to perform all Accounting Functions Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Proficiency with QuickBooks software Proven experience in Day-To-Day Management of an accounting department Familiarity with Month End Close procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
